Renovation Details

Mr. Nayar's One bedroom apt was having some serious lighting issues and that was our biggest challenge to overcome. After bouncing a series of ideas back and forth and running into various problems we settled on two major decisions. First and foremost we would open the wall between the kitchen and the living room allowing the space to not only feel bigger but to also allow the light from the kitchen window to enter the Living room. The other lighting tactic we used was the addition of 4 wall sconces all set on dimmer switches. These fixtures provided plenty of light and also served to create a much needed "mood". In addition, we used Hunter Douglas Silouttes on the windows to filter the incoming daylight but ot prohibit it.
