Holiday's ApproachingPosted Dec 13th 2007 02:07 PM - 0 comments The furnishing of a Madison Avenue loft that began in July '07 is finally coming together. Custom furniture purchased from the likes of Profiles, Kravet and Artistic Frames is finally arriving and the space is starting to really come Together. Last month the Hunter Douglas Silouttes were installed and the Saxony Carpets arrived. Yesterday the Artistic Frame dining chairs and Bench arrived and looked fnatastic. All furnishings were customized in both scale and upholstery, and the combination is both sophisticated and eye capturing. Images will be posted in the coming weeks. On another note, a One Bedroom renovation on East 75th street is in it's final stages as well. This project which began in early October was a complete "gut and renovate." The spaces was beautiful but in terrible living conditions. With the help of Pegasus contracting based out of White Plains, we overhauled the entire space from floors to kitchen to bathroom. New 5.5" white oak planks were installed in the living room while wall to wall carpeting was installed throughout the bedroom and walk in closet. The bathroom is clean and minimal highlighted by 6" square glass tiles on the floor. Combined with the white subway tiles and pedestal sink the space appears larger than it actually is. Most importantly, all of the electrical and lighting was updated and the dated fuse box was abolished and replaced with an actual circuit breaker. Next week the Travertine countertops go in as well as the custom closets. Leave a comment
